I went out today in search of office space to begin my venture. My requirements were:
- It has to be a low expense (as cheap as possible)
- It has to be easy for customers to find
- It has to look professional
- It has to provide a mailing address
- It has to have plenty of free customer parking
I Found the Solution
I believe I found what I was looking for, in The Buttonwood Business Center, at 3610 Buttonwood Dr, Suite #200. It fit all of my criteria, and the staff there were super duper friendly.
It is Inexpensive
I am averse to borrowing money to get this business off the ground so I am using my own, saved startup capital. The office space I was looking for had to be as inexpensive as possible, while still providing all the amenities that I require. The Buttonwood Business Center seems to check all of the right boxes there.
It is Easy to Find
It is very easy to find, located right off of Nifong on Buttonwood Dr. It is the big building on the right. I am looking to avoid the calls I receive from customers at my current place of employment, asking me how to find the business. I get like 4 of those calls a day, and would love to work from a space that is easily found.
It Looks Professional
They provide free internet, a receptionist, and an immaculate waiting area, for my customers to sit, while I fix their iPhones. This place is incredible, and I am very excited to start working with them.
I can get Mail
One of my requirements was a mailing address, so I can list my business on Google, Yahoo, and Bing. It will also allow me to register my business with the State and City.
Another requirement I had, when choosing an office space, was free parking. My current employment is in the heart of downtown, and parking there is a pain in the butt. I want my customers to be able to come to me, and not have to worry about parking blocks away, dealing with traffic, or bringing quarters to pay for parking.
Needless to say, that I am very excited to get this ball rolling, and get this website done, so I can get to work.
